3-D

Okay I'm sure everybody else in the entire world has seen a 3-D movie but James and I have not seen one. I know everyone is shocked considering we are such avid movie watchers that neither of us have seen a 3-D movie. None the less we can now say we have seen a 3-D movie. It was cool to be able to watch it together. James has wanted to for a really really long time so we finally did. However I'm sure it would have been cooler in the actual theater we just bought one for home. It was cool to be at home and comfortable just no big screen. If you have not seen one I highly recommend it. It was a lot of fun!!

West Yellowstone

This past weekend James and I had the chance to go to West Yellowstone with his parents. It was a lot of fun and very relaxing. We didn't do a whole lot as far as shopping or other things outside of our room but we did do a lot of sitting around and relaxing. We put together 3 750 piece puzzles, watched movie after movie after movie, ate good food, slept went swimming and took in the great view. While James is gone during the summers he doesn't get to do much or see much in the outdoors so when he comes home he is itching to do as much as he can. Its always nice to get away even if its only for a couple of days.

The view from our room! GORGEOUS!

Playing games with Mom and Dad!

James admiring our work. (we did 3)

Dad was the lucky one I got a glimpse of taking a nap

but all did our fare share of napping.

On our way home.

(we didn't get to see much on our way up there because it was dark)
It was a wonderful weekend!!

Happy Halloween

Usually James and I have a big party to go to or we help put one together but this year not so much. We didn't even dress up. How pathetic are we!!! We did get lots of pumpkins to carve but due to our busy schedule we were down to the wire getting them done. While trick or treaters were coming and I was handing out candy James was in the kitchen carving away so I could put them out and light them. (I mean he was still carving at like 7pm) It was fun though being in our very own house for the first time for a holiday. We got lots of ideas of what to do for next year and had fun planning it. I thought for sure we would run out of candy being in a young new neighborhood but we had plenty still. However I was not to happy that people knocked on our door at like 11 pm. (we did have our porch light on but only because we had people over and they were about to leave) I couldn't believe that parents had their young children out that late. I'm not a parent yet but I don't think I would have my 2 or 3 year old out that late.

Patch where are you???

It never fails that if we can't find Patch he has managed to find some corner or place on the bed (if he can reach it) with pillows to crawl in between and fall asleep. It doesn't matter if someone else is laying on them or not he just likes his nice comfy pillows. The other day at my mom's house Patch found his way into my sisters bedroom and climbed up on her bed and fell asleep between the pillows.

Thanksgiving Point

This past weekend James and I headed to Utah again. This trip was for fun and to spend time with my family. We had a lot of fun (at least I did and I think James was just gracious enough to allow me to have fun). However we did make it to one place he has been bugging me about for 5 years (since before we were married)The Myan restaurant in Sandy, it was scrumptious. We also went to Thanksgiving point for a little kid fun while we were down there. I know the boys (Morgan and James) didn't have as much fun as Cheyanna and I did, but sometimes you just have to let loose. We went into the David Archuletta corn maze, jumped on the air pillow, got pumpkins, learned about the corn maze and where it came from, went into a scary blow up animal (it was a big blow up toy that was dark inside and had a maze and scary stuff in it, I don't think I could begin to describe it so I will just leave it at that.) It was a lot of fun to go and just spend a day with my bro and my sis. Thanks guys for the fun.

Funny story!! Some lady thought James and Morgan were gay! (HAHAHAHA)
I would have to say with their colered shirts, sunglasses, and little puppy I might suspect the same thing. (Chey and I had slipped off to the batheroom when a lady asked to pet thier puppy) So far from the truth you just have to laugh.

The perfect pose!

James tossed Patch in the air

(it was a pretty nice shot if I say so myself)
(no animals were hurt in the process of this picture)

Patch was so tired on the way home he fell right to sleep!

AUTUMN

Autumn is in the air. What a wonderful time of year. I didn't realize how much I enjoy the fall season, until this year. The crisp air coming, the leaves are falling, the holidays are just around the corner and best of all James is always home in the fall. I do love the other seasons but I have to say some of the best things can happen in fall. Sweaters, hot cocoa, cider, fires, snuggling under a blanket, warm nights at home (not as busy), apples, pumpkins, and many other things. One thing that always seems to be a constant thing each year when James comes home is he always manages to play in the leaves with nieces, nephews and sometimes siblings .
Happy Fall everyone.

Neglected

In all of my posts so far there is one person I have neglected to post about my sister. She has been a lot of fun to have around especially during the summer. She spent all summer with me this year and last while James was gone. It was nice to have someone to talk to other then Max and do things with other then by myself. She kept me busy and on my toes running her from place to place to keep her happy and occupied while I was at work but when the weekends came around we had a lot of fun. We went camping, swimming, to movies, out to eat, all the normal fun summer things. I have always loved having a sister (maybe not always but now that I have gotten older and wiser I do for sure). I think having a younger sister has been a little stressful in the sense that I want to be a good example to her teach her as much as I can. She has shown me a lot in my time with her that I don't know that I would have learned any wher else (thanks for the "lessons" Chey). I hope she knows how much I love her and that she is very special. She is an amazing girl with so much potential and life ahead of her. I can't wait to see where she goes in life I just hope to always be a part of it and keep our special bond.

Thanks Chey for all the fun, laughter, crying, love, and special times we have shared.

Been a While

It has been a while since I posted last. It seems as soon as James got home life became more crazy then it was while he was gone. When he got home we had a party and then everybody left us alone for about a week it was really nice. I appreciate everyone who helped with the party and participated it was nice to have everyone there that could be. I had to work for 2 days then I had four days off to spend with James and we did absolutely nothing. It was great!!!. This weekend we are going to Utah to spend time at my moms and James has a work party on Saturday night. Hope its fun. Then my mom and sister are coming up the weekend after that and we go back down the next weekend. So we will be slightly busy for the next little while.
We also have a new addition to our little family. Pictures to be posted soon.
Hope everyone is well and I will post more when we get back from Utah.

He made it!!!!

Well James made it home after a long night of driving and lots of Mt. Dew and jerky, but he is here. Now for some reason we always manage to have some miracle that helps him or us get home. What I mean by this is the car troubles we should have had on the drive home but somehow we make it home and then we notice something is wrong. Well a few years ago we had something break apart and almost separate a belt (our AC went out on us but we had no clue it could have blown up on us) the mechanic said that we were very lucky it didn't blow up actually blow up on us. This year was no exception he had tire on the back driver side that bent into the car (the axle is bent) so while he was driving the tread wore off completely on the inside track, Scary, but he is home safe and sound. When he arrived home I had a "surprise" party planned so he could see everyone (family mainly). Well I had everyone go into the garage so when we opened the door everyone would be standing there but the little sneak after I locked the front door ended up having a key to get in so he kind of surprised us through the back. I was crawling under the garage door to find him but ended up finding an empty car and no James. So much for a surprise but it was still fun to have everyone there and to see him in the flesh. Through out the rest of the night I would just stand there and stare at him as if it wasn't real and I was dreaming. Its so nice to have him home! (pictures from the party to be posted later)

Coming Home!!!!!

Well its been officially said that James will be leaving Texas on Saturday September 27th. We don't know for sure when he will actually get to leave that day because of all the work he needs to finish but he is so excited to come home I think an early morning departure is in store. Which means he will be able to be home by the time I get off work on Monday September 29th. He has to make a few stops in Utah along the way home at the corporate office and then to see some family but I know that nothing will stop him from getting home on Monday. I still can't believe 6 months has passed! Some days it seems so long and others seem so short I just know I have missed him a lot and almost forget some days that I am married (as bad as that seems but its true) but then I look around my house or car or even look at my left hand and I am quickly reminded that I have a wonderful husband that is just away on "business" for an extended period of time. I still don't believe he will be here on Monday until I see him and get to wrap my arms around him to know he is physically home. I can't wait. Don't ever take for granted your loved ones who are around you because you never know when they will be gone for a short time or for a long time. I miss you honey and can't wait to see. I'm proud to call myself Mrs. James Ward. I love you!!!! xoxoxoxoxo

Squeeze!!!

We were able to "SQUEEZE" one more fun weekend out of the nice weather so we (meaning Julie her family, a few friends and myself) went four wheeling. We went up by FELT somewhere, it was okay for riding but the view alone was worth going up there. We went up mid morning to early after noon last Saturday and got home around 8:30 after the drive but it sure was fun. We have such beautiful things around us that are close enough we can enjoy them and still get back to reality when we need to.

The tetons were gorgeous!!!

Julie and Riley taking a break!

Ken and Austin

During the first part of the ride both Riley and Austin fell asleep on the back of the four wheeler. It was very cute but I couldn't believe they could sleep through it.

On the drive home the kids and I had fun taking pictures, below is some of our photo op.

I MISS YOU GUYS!!!

My aunt Ellen and Uncle Karl moved a couple of weeks ago with their 4 girls.

I miss them a lot! One of the last nights they were here we had a sleep over at my house (we've done this many a time, but this one was extra special) Here's a little peek at how much fun we had.

Our many attempts to get a good picture. It was a lot of fun!!!

The girls and I have a close bond and I will miss them lots.

Syd-(she is the stinking cutest little girl)

The night after the sleep over they (including Grandma and Grandpa) stayed over for spaghetti and salad dinner as our last hurrah together! Good luck in your new home!
