What a WONDERFUL husband!

It has taken me a while since our anniversary to post anything because it has been a little hectic around here. Anyway this post is a shout out to my wonderful hardworking, sweet husband. We recently celebrated our 4 year anniversary. Now we have not had the best of luck with our anniversaries thus far due to a wonderful thing I call (the arch Nemesis but necessity of life James' job)However James topped them all this year considering the house was clean or at least as clean as it could be considering we just moved in. He made dinner, had a bubble bath ready for me to soak in while he finished up dinner.









He also had flowers and four gifts which I loved.










Its kinda funny how once in a while you don't think they pay attention enough to know you enough to do something for you that you love and get you things that are your favorite but once in a while a little surprise comes out. I just wanted to let him know how much I appreciate him and what he does for me. Thanks for a wonderful anniversary this year. Kudos to you babe!!!

MY BRO!!

I just wanted to give a shout out to by brother, Morgan, he graduated this year with a 3.7 GPA and alot of awards from sports that he has commited himself to the last four years. He did; cross country, basketball, JROTC (highschool military), baseball amongst completing alot of classes that will help him complete his associates degree with just two short sememsters at Weber State in Ogden. He also worked his JR. and SR. year to add to the craziness of his schedule. The most exciting part about everything is he was just given a scholarship to the Weber State police academy. He can't use it until he is 21 but that just means the money will sit in an account to grow and earn interest until then. I know this seems like a brag post but I just wanted to let my brother know that James and I love him very much and that We are so proud of him. GOOD JOB MORGAN!! Go get 'em tiger!!!

FINALLY A HOUSE!!!!!!!!

Well its official we finally jumped into the deep end of the ocean with all those other crazy people and bought our first house. What an adventure.

James and I are finally in our first house. What a ride it has been to get to this point but well worth the wait. We were really fortunate to do some of the work ourselves like; extra insulation, lights (thanks mom), and tile (a lot of work but well worth it, thanks to David and Dad). We started in October 2007 and we finished (w/ the exception of a few minor things)in April. The nice part about the whole deal was we selected our house early enough that we got to pick out everything, paint, tile, carpet, even the electrical placement. I was really nervous about all the colors coming together and James just had to keep reassuring me that it would be fine. I should listen to him more often because once it was done it looked awesome. The only downside was by the time they got done with the house and the financing James was only there for 5 days. You will have to come see it. (the only thing is its going to take some time to get everything in its place)

Officially on board

Well its official James and I have decided to jump on the blog band wagon (okay maybe me more so then him but still here we are). The first few post will probably seem a little boring however I felt it would be a good way to get everyone caught up to where we are now. James and I have been very fortunate to have the chance to do some traveling (even if most of it is because we pack up our stuff for 6 months every year to move to who knows where) all for a job that James loves. I have to say that it can be difficult some times but in the end somehow it seems to be worth it. However amongst this travel for the last five years, yup count um 5, the last two (including this year) James and I are apart during the summer. Now some people would ask why and feel sorry for us but we chose to do this as odd as it may seem. We feel that this is a great opportunity to prepare for our future, house (we got it), kids (soon), and retirement (long ways off but it will come some day). James has had a few changes with his job over the years but he some how always seems to come out on top and still in the same industry. This year it took him to El Paso Texas. WHY WHY WHY El Paso, well the are hasn't been knocked before and the office is doing amazing 30-35 accounts a day what a load. I have had the opportunity to come see him already this year since he left 1 1/2 months ago, a lot better then last year but this year is a lot tougher. He stays pretty busy trying to keep up with everything, luckily enough he has an assistant and his brother is with him this year so I think that seems to help. I am working at a job I also love!!! I am a dental office manager with a great doctor to work for and wonderful girls to work with, we all get along. IT IS AWESOME. We just are trying to live the American pipe dream of work less earn more. We have been very blessed in our lives, great family, awesome friends (old and new), jobs we love, a new house (we have worked so hard for), now its on to the future. So although this seems like a very long post its our lives in a very small nut shell. Oh can't forget about max (you will see him later) our dog we got two years ago.

Our Happiest Day

James and I had a wonderful wedding day and were so fortunate that all of our friends and family could be a part of our special day. We also were very lucky with the weather, it rained the day before and the day after but our day was blue skies and sunshine. A great start for our journey together.
