Nothing left

The only thing I don't like about the start of a new year and January is the mess left behind from the Holidays. The tree is gone, the lights are off, the smell of baking gone, the feel of giving has disappeared and yet the mess is still ever present. The snow is still a reminder of a long winter still ahead with nothing to look forward to until spring. Goodbye Christmas Hello New Year should be the attitude but man that mess and work to clean up is a huge disappointment. Well I guess I should start the process to prepare my house for some normalcy but a baby shower awaits. Wish me LUCK!

Just look at that mess, do you see all those needles? I think a fake tree is instore for us next year!!!

I Got Caught

Ok so I am not the best at blogging, I will be the first to admit it. But now I have been caught at my little secret that I could sort of keep and still make it look like I post alot. My cousin and mom caught me! I tend to start a post get distracted and then I don't complete it the same day in fact it takes me a few weeks to get them all caught back up. So here is my pledge to start a post and complete it in the same day so I don't let myself down for one but then people can really know what we are up to rather then be 2 or 3 weeks behind. Please help me stay on track and don't let me forget about a post. (**I think this one is mainly for me)

Christmas 2009

Dear Christmas,

Thank you for the fun wonderful and low key day this year. Thank you for sending as much family as you could to us to spend good quality time together. Thank you for the fun, love, food; oh the food that filled our tummies was oh so good, the laughter and games around my grandma's table. Thank you for allowing my grandparents to come for some amazing puffed french toast that made us sleepy the morning of our Saviors birth. The gifts that Santa brought were oh so much fun to open and watch with anticipation the reaction. The hospitality that was provided for us from family was enjoyable and relaxing. Thank you for all wonderful things that happened to us this Christmas.
Love,
Michelle
