Another Visit to Grandpa

Piano

Cheyanna is amazing she just picked up doing piano lessons only 4mths ago and she had her first recital last Monday. I thought she did an amazing job. I am so proud of her and her accomplishments. I think she might have a natural talent for piano I just hope she can keep up with it. Good Job!!!!

Voices

Hartleigh talking to Cheyanna. Chey seems to be the one who can get her to talk the most. The other night she kept us up at midnight squealing. It was awesome!!

Christmas Trees

This year was a little different then normal because we went with some friends but it was alot of fun. It is a trip I will never forget one I learned to have more faith & trust in my husband, one I learned to believe in prayer it truely does work and one to remember because it was Hartleighs first. Thanks to our wonderful friends who came with us it was alot of fun.

11 weeks

Hartleigh is growing and changing all the time its so exciting but so sad at the same time. She is getting so big.

Still love her dimples

She gets really mad if you don't feed her when she wants

Finally gaining some weight on the thighs (she won't like this later but I love it now)
Still in some newborn clothes but moving slowly to 3 months

She is starting to play with toys like crazy

She loves the Christmas tree lights

Still has bright blue eyes they are so expressive and beautiful

Her hair is still long but getting lighter at the roots

She sucks on her fists all the time

She slept from 11:30 to 6:30 this morning (She woke at 3:30 but I wrapped her up in the blanket and gave her binky and she was out again) In her bed (MOM)

She is ticklish on her back (just run your finger up the side and she squirms like a worm)

She loves to have her face traced with your finger to go to sleep

I love you from now until Forever HarHar

My Grandpa is so sweet with Hartleigh and I am so grateful he has been around to hold her and spend time with her. I will let the pictures and video speak for themselves.

The past 8 weeks have flown by "they" warn you about this when you have kids but I never realized how true it is until we had Hartleigh. She is growing and changing so fast I think she is still technically a newborn but it doesn't seem like she is anymore. She is doing so many more things. I hope I remember these things but in case I don't here are a few things she is doing now.

She has recently discovered her tongue (it makes me laugh to watch her stick it out just to see what it does)

She also has discovered she has a voice not sure what to do with it yet but it is cute when she uses it

I love to watch her sleep

She still has all her hair (everybody loves it)

She loves her baths can't get enough of it

The only time she is upset is when she is hungry

She smiles immediately after she has eaten

She can almost hold her own bottle (sad)

She has started to blow bubbles like crazy

She had baby acne for the last 2 weeks hope its cleared up soon

She has become a drooling baby which in turn means a bib baby

She smiles all the time (recognizes Mom and Dad)

Her dimples make me happy

She is doing very well at holding her head not completely by herself but almost

She hates tummy time past 1-2 minutes
She loves to be held (mom and dad's fault)

She toots like crazy and they are loud ( I love it)

She still moans and hums in her sleep (most heavenly sound there is besides their heartbeat

A few nick names are

HarHar, bubbles, bug, love, and grandmas little angel

I love you HarHar from now and til forever

We had some pictures taken of Hartleigh a few weeks ago and we just got them back. They turned out wonderful. Here are a few for a sneak peak. If you want to wear a new mom out quick have pictures taken, no need to say anymore.

Too BIG

Our little miss Hartleigh is getting to big for her britches. She seems to think its to cool to have help with the bottle (she only gets this during the day when I'm at work) she held it pretty much on her own. Just two days ago she started to sit up on my lap with help from the bobby but she held her head up so well. They grow up way to fast, people use to say this and I would just nod my head in agreement but now I'm saying it. She's growing up way to fast!

A BUG'S Life

We want to wish everyone a Happy Halloween and happy trick or treating.

Bugs bugs bugs who likes bugs. I do I do I do. James is always so kind to humor me for the costumes and this year was no different. I'm sure he just thinks I am crazy as does my mom but I thought our theme was cute. It all started with my little lady bug. I know it seems crazy to have had a costume for Hartleigh but I just couldn't resist my little bug. We went to our ward's Trunk or Treat and everyone loved our costumes. If we all were together it made sense but you see James likes to wonder so James kinda ruined it to get the true effect of the theme. We had a fun but pretty low key Halloween this year considering we didn't decorate, have our usual Halloween party or even carve pumpkins. Life has certainly changed around here with a 15 year old and a newborn but I wouldn't change it for anything.
