Thanksgiving Point

This past weekend James and I headed to Utah again. This trip was for fun and to spend time with my family. We had a lot of fun (at least I did and I think James was just gracious enough to allow me to have fun). However we did make it to one place he has been bugging me about for 5 years (since before we were married)The Myan restaurant in Sandy, it was scrumptious. We also went to Thanksgiving point for a little kid fun while we were down there. I know the boys (Morgan and James) didn't have as much fun as Cheyanna and I did, but sometimes you just have to let loose. We went into the David Archuletta corn maze, jumped on the air pillow, got pumpkins, learned about the corn maze and where it came from, went into a scary blow up animal (it was a big blow up toy that was dark inside and had a maze and scary stuff in it, I don't think I could begin to describe it so I will just leave it at that.) It was a lot of fun to go and just spend a day with my bro and my sis. Thanks guys for the fun.

Cheyanna got her face painted (girly and cute)

Funny story!! Some lady thought James and Morgan were gay! (HAHAHAHA)
I would have to say with their colered shirts, sunglasses, and little puppy I might suspect the same thing. (Chey and I had slipped off to the batheroom when a lady asked to pet thier puppy) So far from the truth you just have to laugh.

The pumpkin patch

The perfect pose!

James tossed Patch in the air

(it was a pretty nice shot if I say so myself)
(no animals were hurt in the process of this picture)

Patch was so tired on the way home he fell right to sleep!

AUTUMN

Autumn is in the air. What a wonderful time of year. I didn't realize how much I enjoy the fall season, until this year. The crisp air coming, the leaves are falling, the holidays are just around the corner and best of all James is always home in the fall. I do love the other seasons but I have to say some of the best things can happen in fall. Sweaters, hot cocoa, cider, fires, snuggling under a blanket, warm nights at home (not as busy), apples, pumpkins, and many other things. One thing that always seems to be a constant thing each year when James comes home is he always manages to play in the leaves with nieces, nephews and sometimes siblings .
Happy Fall everyone.

Neglected

In all of my posts so far there is one person I have neglected to post about my sister. She has been a lot of fun to have around especially during the summer. She spent all summer with me this year and last while James was gone. It was nice to have someone to talk to other then Max and do things with other then by myself. She kept me busy and on my toes running her from place to place to keep her happy and occupied while I was at work but when the weekends came around we had a lot of fun. We went camping, swimming, to movies, out to eat, all the normal fun summer things. I have always loved having a sister (maybe not always but now that I have gotten older and wiser I do for sure). I think having a younger sister has been a little stressful in the sense that I want to be a good example to her teach her as much as I can. She has shown me a lot in my time with her that I don't know that I would have learned any wher else (thanks for the "lessons" Chey). I hope she knows how much I love her and that she is very special. She is an amazing girl with so much potential and life ahead of her. I can't wait to see where she goes in life I just hope to always be a part of it and keep our special bond.

Thanks Chey for all the fun, laughter, crying, love, and special times we have shared.

Been a While

It has been a while since I posted last. It seems as soon as James got home life became more crazy then it was while he was gone. When he got home we had a party and then everybody left us alone for about a week it was really nice. I appreciate everyone who helped with the party and participated it was nice to have everyone there that could be. I had to work for 2 days then I had four days off to spend with James and we did absolutely nothing. It was great!!!. This weekend we are going to Utah to spend time at my moms and James has a work party on Saturday night. Hope its fun. Then my mom and sister are coming up the weekend after that and we go back down the next weekend. So we will be slightly busy for the next little while.
We also have a new addition to our little family. Pictures to be posted soon.
Hope everyone is well and I will post more when we get back from Utah.

He made it!!!!

Well James made it home after a long night of driving and lots of Mt. Dew and jerky, but he is here. Now for some reason we always manage to have some miracle that helps him or us get home. What I mean by this is the car troubles we should have had on the drive home but somehow we make it home and then we notice something is wrong. Well a few years ago we had something break apart and almost separate a belt (our AC went out on us but we had no clue it could have blown up on us) the mechanic said that we were very lucky it didn't blow up actually blow up on us. This year was no exception he had tire on the back driver side that bent into the car (the axle is bent) so while he was driving the tread wore off completely on the inside track, Scary, but he is home safe and sound. When he arrived home I had a "surprise" party planned so he could see everyone (family mainly). Well I had everyone go into the garage so when we opened the door everyone would be standing there but the little sneak after I locked the front door ended up having a key to get in so he kind of surprised us through the back. I was crawling under the garage door to find him but ended up finding an empty car and no James. So much for a surprise but it was still fun to have everyone there and to see him in the flesh. Through out the rest of the night I would just stand there and stare at him as if it wasn't real and I was dreaming. Its so nice to have him home! (pictures from the party to be posted later)
