HaPpY 4th of JuLy!!!

Well it seems that every year James and I manage to still spend the summer holiday together even though we don't technically live in the same house for six months. We get the chance to spend 4Th of July together. It actually ends up being an adventure sometimes with some type of memory you can't seem to forget and for years to come you say remember that one year. Well this year was no exception. You would think in the state of Texas there would be great fireworks (maybe its because we are in El Paso, the social lacking city of the world (that's for another post)) but no. We started the night off with the best gift that JD (the sales rep manager of James' office) could give they were done for the night officially by 6:00pm now some of you know this never happens but luckily for us this year it did. So it started great!!! We met up with Richard and Amber (James' brother) We went to dinner at a restaurant called BJ's (Richard's favorite) James and I have never been there and it was fantastic, great food and ooooOOOOHHHH, the desert HEAVEN! Afterwards we had no idea what to do other then we knew we wanted to go to a movie later that night. So we drove around until while we are on the freeway we see fireworks going off. We pulled over to a spot in some what seemed to be a dumpy part of town in a parking lot. Luckily we had our husbands to protect us. As we get out to watch the show, 5 more fireworks go off and that was it. We couldn't believe it Idaho Falls has better ones than this place. However it made it seem more like the 4Th of July then no fireworks at all. Then into the car we go up to a spot Richard found called "scenic drive" the drive was beautiful it was dark and all you could see was the city, of course by the time we get to the pull out spots high up on the hill there is no where to park so we keep driving to the next spot and right as we are getting there someone left so we took their spot. Once again only there maybe 7 minutes and all the sudden Amber is doing a little dance that we have no idea why????? Then she screams owe it bit me! What?? Well there is this little wall barrier that we sat on together as couples to enjoy the view and have a little romantic time we we all started to feel something crawl across our feet, arm, neck, leg, chest, etc.... Well low and behold it was ants, they bit Richard, Amber, and James (Richard got the worst of it, 8 total) Now I'm not talking little tiny ants I'm talking gargantuan ants, The size of TEXAS!!! Needless to say we had a little adventure. On to finding something to help the BURN we end up in downtown El Paso by the clubs yikes scary!!! After that we wen to see the movie GET SMART, this movie is so stinkin funny I thought James and I were going to die of laughter. Go see this movie I would pay to see this movie again. Finally ending our night about 2 am, the usual late night of a technician and his wife. SO HAPPY 4Th of JULY EVERYONE!!!!!
